SIAKALIMA LAUNCHES 2025 SCHOOL CENSUS, CALLS FOR ACCURATE AND TIMELY DATA SUBMISSION

The Minister of Education, Douglas Siakalima, has launched the 2025 annual school census exercise, stressing the importance of accurate and timely data collection for effective planning and decision-making in the education sector.

Timely Submission: Complete data collection within stipulated timeframe
Data Accuracy: Essential for national reporting and planning
Minister's Directives:

Mr. Siakalima directed Provincial and District Education Offices to provide close supervision, coordination, and technical support to ensure smooth execution of the exercise across the country.

Inclusive Participation Mandate

The Minister emphasized that every school, whether public, private, or community-based, must participate in the census to promote inclusivity and provide a clear understanding of Zambia's education landscape.

Private Schools Cooperation

He further called on private school proprietors and administrators to cooperate with the Ministry by submitting accurate and timely data, regardless of ownership or affiliation.
